Ebony Chall is proving himself to be a true filly sire. To date, he has produced one colt, who is living his best life in Nevada and is currently in training for endurance. All of his remaining offspring have been fillies, each consistently reflecting his quality, presence, and athletic ability.
Like many programs, we were significantly impacted by Covid just as we were preparing to step into the show ring. Several entries had already been made for Arabian Halter Futurities when everything came to an abrupt halt. The years following the pandemic led us down a different path for a time, but we are now fully prepared and excited to begin again.
2019 Bay solid Paint, Arabian cross
Sire: Ebony Chall (Magnum Chall HVP x GC Echstancia)
Dam: Doc Peppys Stinger (Pep O Lena x Docs Stinging Cutie)
You will find Lena living in the Trinity Alps, where she has begun an exciting new chapter. Her trainer, now her owner, has big plans for her future. Lena spent her first summer—and now her winter—up in the mountains, settling into her new life. I couldn’t have asked for a better horsewoman to be Lena’s person.
2019 Chestnut Appendix QH, Arabian cross
Sire: Ebony Chall (Magnum Chall HVP x GC Echstancia)
Dam: Cals Fashion Statement (Cals Special Edition x Destiny's Monarch)
Cady, as I call her, is exactly what I hoped for from this cross—except perhaps her chestnut color. She is big-bodied, balanced, graceful, and powerful. As a foal, she injured her eye and nearly lost it, an experience that only deepened my bond with her.
As the fourth generation of my breeding program on the paternal side, she holds a very special place in my heart. She would only ever be available to an exceptional home, and only with the stipulation that she would return to me if circumstances changed. Given her cloudy eye, I am very cautious about where she could ultimately end up, so she will most likely remain with me for life.
I do have my eye on a couple of bay performance Arabian stallions for her future, but that is still a few years down the line. For now, my focus is on showing her first. She also embodies her maternal great-grandsire Triple Crown winner affirmed. They look almost identical.
2018 Bay Purebred Arabian
Sire: Ebony Chall (Magnum Chall HVP x GC Echstancia)
Dam: Lily GHF (SV Basksko x AM Zaza Kaborr)
I could not have been more pleased with Amirah. I love bays, and she truly represents the very best of both her sire and dam. She is exceptionally calm, willing, and a joy to work with. Exquisite and unmistakably Arabian in type, she consistently draws the eye.
Amirah is entered into the Arabian Breeders Sweepstakes and nominated to several halter futurities, but we were unable to attend due to the pandemic. This year, we are excited to begin showing her. While her exact path is still being decided, both rail and trail are very much in her future.
2015 Chestnut Purebred Arabian
Sire: Ebony Chall (Magnum Chall HVP x GC Echstancia)
Dam: BR Silver Belle (Belesemo Reflkshn x GT Silver Satin)
Jewel – Ebony Chall’s first purebred filly – is a special mare with remarkable heritage. Her dam, Belle, was an exceptional trail partner, and I had the joy of riding her in my first 25-mile ride, where her effortless endurance left me in awe. Jewel also carries the legacy of her grandsire, Belesemo Reflkshn, a horse renowned for versatility and excellence.
While Jewel’s future is still unfolding following a 2025 accident, she may become a treasured broodmare or enjoy light riding. With her chestnut elegance and gentle spirit, she exemplifies the beauty, temperament, and heart that define Ebony Chall’s offspring.
2014 Chestnut and white pinto Saddlebred Arabian cross (half-sister to Riyah)
Sire: Sire: Ebony Chall (Magnum Chall HVP x GC Echstancia)
Dam: Jamaicas Highland Zephyr (Sun Glow's Zephyr x TNC Nilla Wafer)
Sky is one of those rare horses who seems to be born broke. She is easygoing, willing, and a true pleasure to be around. Simply ask her to do something, and she gives it her very best—making life with her effortless and joyful.
I have every intention of Sky becoming my trail companion. With her vivid blue eye, roan pinto markings, and long, luxurious mane and tail, she is truly my dream horse—like a living carousel horse brought to life.
